I watched a documentary on the Beijing Olympics and how it's destroyed the local population, forcing them out of their homes and destroying their lives just to make way for the Olympics :(

the whole thing is quite depressing really

my first thought on the article looking at the structures was "holy shit" but then as you continue the photos turn depressing and kind of makes you reflect on what you saw before
