Personally I've just been a bit sick and tierd lately of how big the difference is on some people. Hittability is of course what I'm talking about. You can get a scrim with perfectly hittable opponents, the game after you get warping unhittables.
Bad connections? Polish? ET's poor code? I don't know, and I guess you can't do anything about it really. Does the majority of the unhittables make themselves unhittable?
Are you using a netlimiter or a lagscript and have you used it before if your not using it now?
What is your oppinion about it?

For the one specing it will always look like the player in question aims behind the target.
Same goes for demos.
When StrAf plays at home (90 - 120 ping) everybody is like LAGGER OMG UNHITTABLE GET INETZ NOOB. When he plays at my pc, everybody says the same...

Better inet = faster hitdetection. Crap inet will make you come lagging around corners and to me feels like you the screenshake of getting hit is delayed (kinda like playing cybergames where anyone can shoot tripple hs all the time). Laggers are fucked up in some ways, ever played a pub with 300ping? It feels like you got some sort of wallhack,they can see stuff b4 they are actually supposed to see. Its weird to describe, just join some 300ping server and you'll find urself lagging around corners seeing stuff way sooner then you are supposed to, often skipping back a few steps to were your real position is but you already saw stuff you shouldnt. I hope that makes some sense!
IE last week played a russian team, sitting still it wasnt getting hits, the bullets were just not registering, but they took you down as if they were having no connection problems at all - then played a dutch team after that and headshots for fun.. but they could still hit me. Antilag is poor, but cant expect more from a free game.
still punishes people with good connection, why do you think 98-100ping is seen as the magic ping.
Couldn't get a bodyshot, but got weird and random headshots while aiming at chest.

I get called unhittable and warper too like every 2nd war but mostly it is still the shooter's inability to track
Some players actually think they are good, but they are just not hitable, so you die faster than them = pure skill for them.

But the biggest noobs are for me ppl that are checking yawn/be, noticing you are polish and start whining everytime you kill them and on the end of the map guy gets acc like 43%, but you are still unhitable! np. he would have got 94% if you were.
Look at PGA, polish played better against some skilled ppl then inet.
and btw, the lagscript doesnt make any difference :D just spam crouch-button if you want to be unhittable :P
otherwise I would be @ ping 48 cable also, now I'm @ ping 160-300-900 wireless xD
1. bad connection, especially people with a ping that goes up and down are much harder to hit
2. players who create artificial lag on purpose. Netlimiters, lower packets, scripts that change rate/packets when they crouch and/or shoot. I think especially players with a certain level of skill put a lot of time and effort into having settings that make them harder to hit and makes them able to hit better themselves.
50% of the et community are laggers.. some % are lagscript/netlimiters/... users.. if i face on of them and it starts annoying me rly hard i put my lagscript on. Funniest thing is just that alot of ppl call me warper/lagger even if i dont have it on :D But mostly the guys which are getting ass raped :(

If someone is unhittable he will be with 40 and even with 100 maxpackets,
it seems to me it all depends on your internet-connection...
To me, yes some people are more difficult to hit than others. Some don't move smoothly across my screen, others just have hitboxes somewhere else on the map. I don't know why, but I know that the same happens to me from time to time too, so I guess it adds up.
I try not to whine, although it IS frustrating when I KNOW that the crosshair is on someone but I don't get any hits.
Hopefully I'll get a better connection when I move now (I'm used to ~100, hoping to get 50 now) and I guess I'll feel a difference.
But TBH, I often find 50 ping people to be more unhittable than 100 ping people.. Have no idea why though. Maybe it's just that they own me :P
+ when I turn on the torrent I become more aim-skilled,more HS , ACC + whine that im unhitable.
This morning on bio - 2 people with ping 48 , rest jumps from 50 to 120 .All skilled . PRO or
torrent ?
ping 48 = good connection + player must be local
ping 98 = polish player
ping 30-120 =lagger (insert all possible reasons ISP / NL2/ Lagscript/distance/torrent

to kill some time and ... I was amazed and I understood public skiller/unhitables. I felt quilty though because it wasn't my own job but antilags.
I just pointed out a hint for the chap who wrote this journal. Choice is up to us .
Talented ppl will bash laggers any day with luger and knife.
