Since I bought a new LCD beast a while ago I set my old crt monitor for sale on the koopjeskrant.be (kinda like ebay). Yesterday some guy replied saying that he would give ~ 40 EUR. After a couple of mails and arranging some stuff he would come and pick it up around 17.30'o clock. Finally, around 18 o clock the bell rings.. I open up, and let him - together with his mom (ok then) - in. We go upstairs, I show the monitor. They take a short peek at it and go like " looks nice, we'll take it!". The guy gets out his wallet and suddenly says to his mom.. "That should be perfect for Sophie, all she ever does is play WoW anyway!" After a kinda akward moment where they both looked at me how I was trying not to laugh (YES YOU CAN TRY) he says " yeah, it's for my sister-in-law". Few minutes later they head off with the monitor and left me with a real wow-impression.

that's nice
Im thinking about new one also, since Im tired of how big and fat my crt is

- 22 inch (widescreen)
- 3000:1 Dynamic Contrast
- 2 ms
- 1680*1050 resolution
- Awesome design
- Samsung = great for gaming
Took me a while to get used to it though.
Don't listen to people claiming that CRT's are God's gift to FPS-gaming because they arent. I track as stable with my LCD as I did with my CRT, you just have to get used to it.
edit: ah, 229, rly cheap! I think I'll try to get one here ;)
that makes no sense, you sell your good monitor? wha
when i played on LCD (for ~6 months, i was one of the earliest adopters of lcd for gaming on crossfire) I did the same, told myself there was no difference and that it was fine
plugged in a crt and its just... indescribably smoother and more pleasant
when that one broke i drove across the country to pick up my current one, a 21" dell (hard to find good crt monitors local)
