Having A8 in BB heads up? This guy should atleast raise to 300/450 and not wait for a suckout, ahwell it was just a newbie playing stakes too high:)

2) Opponent will slow down

Well yeah, 450 chips is his whole stack and you're right that he needs to stick it in. I think he did.

What do you mean by the 1-outer?

3 threes on the board. He beats every hand if it doesnt include the fourth 3 or a higher kicker.
He goes for the turn and hits his full house. Now hes only getting beat by a four of a kind.


I call it a 1 outer (the fourth 3) , because its the only card who could beat his Full house at that point.

On the flop, A8 is beat by

A9, AT, AJ, AQ, AK, 22+, Any hand with a 3

On the turn, it's beat by

99+, Any hand with a 3. A8 is by no means the second nuts here.

A 1-outer means a situation where there's only one card left in the deck that can make you draw out on the other guy. An example would be the opponent holding 88 in this hand against the quad 3's, and hitting the last (1-outer) 8 on the river.

The chance of 4 of a kind isn't that big, I would have been more afraid of a higher full house. Either way, not so clever to go all in =P
