ello, I seem to have a problem with my mic atm.. When i speak, the sound is crackling, unclear and basicy distorted as fuck.
I'm not sure if it's just a vent/ windows / realtek setting problem or if my mic is completely fucked.
If anyone running Windows XP, could post a screenshot of their;
Windows Sound settings ( Control panel - > sounds, speech, and Audio Devices -> Sounds and Audio Devices then under "device volume", click the "advanced" button. ( need the screenshot to contain microphone/ and all the other things like line in/ mic in. etc)
Ventrillo Sound Settings
And if you have it, the Realtek sound settings.
Would be much appreciated if someone could take the screenshots :)

this is the only setting that doesnt give me distortions and other weird shit
