well, why can't you just say that you're going for a holiday trip to Holland for example?

atleast here on Finland at upper secondary school it was enough to just say "I'm going to Holland for the weekend so I'll be off for couple days", didn't even have to write any application as it would've been needed only for 7+ days

There are no official dates yet so don't book flights or time off until it's announced. Latest news indicates that it might be towards the end of october but this shouldn't be taken as gospel. I'd imagine TosspoT will be posting some news reasonably soon.
