no it's the http port

but you give youtube as example? that's flash player or java or so
Parent
you don't need to open ports afaik.

http is 80 but thats usually open by default
say if i like wanted to just stop videos being played on my INET browser but allow surfing websites and i happened to be able to block any TCP/UDP ports? ;>
IE: Extra => Options => Security => put for every zone the bar to the maximum, i don't think you are able to watch much movies any more xDDD

in FF almost the same, but there you have to tick and untick some of the selection boxes
Parent
how in FF? :/
Parent
You could try disableing the cookies in FF, but i guess more then only youtube will get blocked
or install the "NoScript" addon, there you can easely disable all the scripts you don't want to use
Parent
http used port 80, even if you are watching youtube movies :f
but i just want videos not to work but things like google to work ;>
Parent
deinstall flash then?

I just felt like deleting the previous comment 'cause it was outrageously wrong. np4me.
btw, Hi cuttypenis, long time :)
Parent
you are soooo wrong :O
Parent
why would I ever be wrong?! :<
Parent
get noscript
Parent
why?

are you secretly a nazi?

the only way to do it would be to block access to all the video streaming sites via your router
Parent
some routers probably could disallow external software such as flash. Or do as someone said, uninstall it on the PC's
