Its the reason why i think squall, maus, ferus, butchji, etc are better cause they play higher sens and arent as limited by their sensitivity. They can just go in and outaim on reflex, mystic was all about positioning and low sens though his aim was awesome ofc.
In quake top players used to lower their sens, back when ppl played sens 20 with ballmice. But in the end pro quake players found out movement is key to victory and their uberlow sens was just holding their gameplay back, limiting the things they could do. Ofc they needed to adjust to the higher sens, but if you got talent it shouldnt be that hard :) Just look at a lot of lowsens medics and how limited they are in what they can do in certain positions just because of the lowsens (guess i dont need to explain that to you, mr fov 90 uberlow sens and i dunno whats happening behind me :)
And I believe that back in the days, tekoa was better than milk aiming wise. (even tho his positioning allowed that)
(and, for your instance, i play with like 540° / 40 cm - and always increasing, thanks to cpma :D (for making me lose my bodyshot accuracy) - and you specced me the wrong day :-(. For me, the worse lowsensers to play are lettu chmpp squall and their friends. They're like horrible to play against on radar )
show me those replays, i was not really into et when ferus was liek god on earth.
I rly dunno, but you just saw the CS / q3 pro players aim there :) Nothing compared to lowsens etplayer aim. Its like speccing top q3 players shafting and its like the xhair isnt moving relative to the opponent, kinda like czm in FFA @ quakecon. Insane aim ... Perfect movement, eye hand coordination and reflexes.
high sens is kinda ok on constantly moving opponents, or in a game where you need to be fast because duels dont last long. but for ET where accuracy is important, you have to have a really precise wrist or lower your sens. (and currently, most vq3 players use a pretty low sensitivity and low fov because the shaft is overpowered due to arqoon and the cpma dev team's good net code (xerp xerp xerp) - see, it's related to the most used weapons in the game :p)
Im not a top 3 aimer anymore but my aim was pretty much the best when I was in idle (and no that was more than only defensive :]), I didnt even need a smg to own your best aimers. <)
Im not in the "current" top 3 aimers but in the top 3 aimers of all time I easily make it.
Well I wouldnt say I would be easily top 3 but what overdrive is saying is total bullshit. :)
Alot of people are judging me at my current aim while im not even serious about ET anymore,they forget how I used to aim.

Newschool players should be appreciated more because they are the key for keeping the competition active. Ok one problem with newschool talents is they probably cheat but i think the community will make sure the rotten apples get removed.
If old legends returned to the game they'd have to adjust and train to get at their level again, so ...
But I agree what you saying about keeping the game alive, shame theres a lot of mistrust around thanks to the cheater problem.

The whole movie contained only 3 or 4 frag that were good for real... :Z

when watching/watched these guys "aiming" like topics idea is "search" best aimer these guys are/was imo the best.BcoZ when you spect butchji when hes playing good (ofc) , you can see aiming... hes not holdind hes aim at one place and moving left/right.if all players would be crouched and they should hit enemy whos running left/right butchji could beat everyone...
2.mAus ,just bechose hes "mAus" .And hes not "just" mAus when hes playing good he "pWnZ" alot with even a pistol.you saw how many times ive used mAus "name" just bcoz im number 9999999999999999 mAus fanboi ( one of the most fans hving player for sure ).
3. when talking about squalliii whos atm imo best fintard player hes playing style is diff with butchji and mysse.hes holding aim head high and moving like a romanian guy whos just stoled a clock from store.
