Hey,
Like half an hour ago I've started up my pc. But when windows was loaded and the welcome message was on my screen it took this long untill I came to my desktop. But I my desktop was fully clean: no links on my desktop and I didn't even had that bar that should be seen down on your screen (with the START button).
So it's a bit of a fucked up situation. I was wondering if anyone could help me getting this problem solved.
Btw, if you're wondering how I got my browser started: CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
Thanks in advance.

uummm ill try find a way
try that?
When booting and you see no screen, press ctrlaltdelete and start a new process, type the following in the processbar: explorer.exe
now it should boot your desktop with the icons and stuff
then go to start - run - type: msconfig - make sure explorer is in startup and services.
Btw, F:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe ("C:\" if you have windows on your C disk.)
besides that, try to remember what you've done before you've restarted your pc..
and don't you dare callin' me any names, otherwise you're in trouble
