omg what happend :o

Yoooooo...

i just formatted my computer.. installed right drivers etc etc.. and now i'm trying to play ET.. but when i get to "awaiting gamestate" my et crashes.

anyone had this problem, and know how to fix it?

- installed drivers
- all windows updates are up to date
- tried reinstalling
- tried deleting pb
- could get in a ETmain server, not ETpro
- did pb setup

edit: also, my windows media player takes 95% CPU usage. b4 format, it only took like 15 or someth.

try to download from the official page or something, or try the ET ultimate installer, its working good.

It contains ET + etpro and maps etc..

thats bullsh*t, every etpro download is the same, i had it once 2, think it has sth 2 do with ur punkbuster, try to remove ur pb folder completely and reinstall or use the pbweb thing you can download not the one in ur folder itself.

I made a similar experience the last days. re-installed win xp sp2, went online to get latest updates and already got the first trojan on my pc. being online was sufficient.

solution: get the sp3 full package from m$, reinstall again, install sp3, install some anti-vir and then go online.
