ventrilo is retarded because of the stupid licensing agreements, you can't host vent servers unless you are a hosting company (well, you can, but its limited to 8 slots and only 1 port), which is entirely bullshit and epitomizes everything wrong with the software industry :\

mumble is probably the way forward, i just wish it were a little more user friendly, even on the server side of things, creating new users can be a total bitch :\, especially when the web control panel wont work
