uprading to a good rigg isnt that expensive nowaydays,
im going to uprade it all for 400 euros
well at first i just wanted to buy new rams because one of mine is broken and i dont know which so i want to buy 2 new or 1 new (everytime my pc is overloaded and has to use my 2nd ram, the broken one, it shows me blue-screen and i have to shut it down :|).

i browsed a site of a pretty cheap and good pc seller here in my town (called vobis) and discovered that a new gfx card and maybe even a new processor arent that expensive either :p so maybe i will buy some more than i just wanted before ^^

so i need that list so that i can show it to the people there if they want to know which parts i have and what new parts i could plug in without fucking my pc up xD

if you dont go for a newer processor, you wont have a newer motherboard, wich wont support newer graphics cards :D
Parent
well like i told you: i actually only wanted to buy new rams :D

if you use xfire to connect to servers, you can go to xfire.com and choose "upload rig" in your profile

Who/What is Sandra?

SiSoftware Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is an information & diagnostic utility. It should provide most of the information (including undocumented) you need to know about your hardware, software and other devices whether hardware or software.

Sandra is a (girl) name of Greek origin that means "defender", "helper of mankind". We think that's quite fitting.

It works along the lines of other Windows utilities, however it tries to go beyond them and show you more of what's really going on. Giving the user the ability to draw comparisons at both a high and low-level. You can get information about the CPU, chipset, video adapter, ports, printers, sound card, memory, network, Windows internals, AGP, PCI, PCI-X, PCIe (PCI Express), database, USB, USB2, 1394/Firewire, etc.

I have used it for ages.. works fine and it has given always all needed information. easy to use etc.
you better try it =)

kannste dir alles zusammenstellen, auch wenn du lust aufn barbone oder laptop hast^^
find out if you have: DDR or DDR2 RAM (or DDR3 but i srsly doubt that)
whether your gfx is: AGP, PCI (or PCI-E but i srsly doubt that)

thats all you have to worry about, get a hardware info software if u can't work it out - google "software hardware information" or something
someone told me everest when i tried to make my new pc work
run -> dxdiag or download everest
