record ventrilo

Need somebody who can tell me how I should record ventrilo conversations. Already tried the built-in Windows Recoder but it's useless since it only records your own voice. Also tried recording via ventrilo (view - record - blablabla...) but it saves the file as .vrf and from what I've heard you need two soundcards or something to make it work, changing the extension doesn't work either.

click audio settings/advanced, click "what you hear" and it should work
