notebookz? help me !

while browsing the inet i found some notebook for 450e and one for 480e. i thought about buying that, because my pc is uberold(1,3ghz cpu... singlecore! etc), and also the handness, much easier to take it on lan or even take with on the couch, things a notebook makes possible blabla, would be nice .

well im not this expert in pc-things, its still just an idea, but i would pay around 400-500 euro for this. i thought about a multimedia-notebook, mainly for music, dvd's, school related things. i dont play online anymore, sometimes a little bit football manager and lans!
in the history i always could play things like cod2 and et without any problems, stable 76 fps with an good config. last time i couldnt go to the lan (we make every 2 months), and i was happy about: they played ut3, cod4, company of heroes, etc... nothing of this would work on my pc, so: could i play games like cod4 or ut3 with this 2 notebooks? i dont want high-end game feeling, i just want to play.
