Gonna watch them!
Why are they all so small? :<
well, it's not shitty, but I gotta stick with it until Christmas time :D
Edit: Much better camera than mine :)))
(I'm a D80 owner)
+ I got various lens from my Canon 35mm cameras I own so can use them too!
nice pics btw Panda, got some at flickr too
Ain't you the guy who takes pictures @ LAN also? If so what flash (if any) are you using?
I've only used (the built-in) flash at the ceremony, rest was without
You doing this as a hobby or are you going to do it somewhat professional?
It's an expensive hobby (like most are!) but just trying to get in the photography business some way or another and getting my name out :]
Some photos aren't so bad :p
He doesn't own a good camera, sadly...
camera you want to get is quiet nice.
If pics, then ya!
Haven't seen such pictures ever.
Great job!
It's been my wallpaper in the past too :{}
or make it black myself ofc :D
1024x??? is also n1
Have fun shooting!
HF @ Cinema
upload has finished at flickr, the ones at the bottom are from last weekend which are taken with S since it's impossible to follow those fishes with M! :P
it actually depends what you're going to do with it, for what purposes will you buy one
just as a hobby or for professional purposes, and if so, within which domain? if you're for example interested in macro shooting, you'll spend most of the money on (expensive!) lenses, good SLR body's are starting from 450€ (don't forget lenses/sunhoods/uv filters etc) so it actually is in your hands what it eventually will cost :)
I usually shoot in shutter priority if I'm working on moving subjects, but if I got time with things, I try to play in manual so I can set my own aperture too.
Also depends if I'm having a lazy day too :{
some nice architecture stuff you have ^^
A little tip I was give once was that when you shoot stuff through glass, place your lens up against it to stop the surrounding light/reflections.
Just need to make sure you have a clean window :P
the water was also hazy and last but not least the fishes which are a pain in the ass when it comes to taking pics :p
edit: nvm, read it up
The main thing that separates it from a DSLR is you cannot change the lens :(
most probably you use an expansive camera so you just shoot 10 pictures from different angles and with different settings and at home you can choose the right one that you like, so its really overrated.
Of course they are good pictures no problem I like them.
Every time I go out shooting I take 100-300 shots, depending on the day/location, and even then I may not be impressed with any of them because the lighting may not be right, generally a bad day etc.
All trial and error :)
What camera would you suggest to me to buy some best performance / price ?
I'd recommend my camera or the next model up to quite a few people who are after something like a DSLR but not as expensive. And my photos are an example of something that /could/ be achieved.
I think this is good, but for another £150 ontop of that you can get the 450D which is even better. Don't know about Nikon though as I don't use them, but these are popular :>
this is the next model up from mine, which supposed to be good :>
How close is the closest focus distance with that canon (that is not blured) ?
EDiT: Clicked on them aynways, they looked too tempting :(
I may wait longer reading about this 'photonika' event, if prices drop = good. :)
