my g5 broke down after some lethal incidents:x
now im in this uncool situation to make decisions about what mouse im gonna buy next.

i was thinking about:

I play with G5 for 1 year. If it is broken, I would buy another G5 or MX518.

Got a G5 myself and it's working pretty nice, if it would ever die I'd by a Deathadder, not sure if it has 2 sidebuttons but if it doesn't I'd get a Mx518, can't go wrong with that imo.

It has 2 good reachable buttons and is a really nice mouse.

I assume your talking about the Deathadder. Could have bought it a few months ago but instead I got the copperhead. The shape of the DA just didn't feel right at the time. Now I regret it since the copperheads somewhere in the closet. Also didn't take it back for reasons that are beyond any logic >:/ It's all cool tho, got a nice 3Hs sens with my G5 :P

explain why alot of you guys play with an antique mouse like the mx518.
what seperates the mx from newer mouse like the g5, deathadder etc.?

its a sure mouse and its way enough to play at any level in ET or any game and a lot of pro on cs got ime 3.0 which is way more antique than mx518 newer mouse are not needed imo.

SideWinder imo better than Lachesis. But I prefer Mx518 or DeathAdder.
