Worth buying? Any better components with the same price range? Are the components compatible?

Budget around 600€-800€

Seems to be ok for Finnish prizes. Don't forget XP can't handle more than 4 GB (the ram of the graphic card included). Not necessary at all.
all are good exept the ram, you don't need 4Go you will have same perf with 2 x 1 Go + better overclockability. Take a crucial kit or a ram kit with micron chips.
I am almost sure that I won't overclock.
Parent
You'll lose alot of perf but as you want, but don't waste your money with a 4 Go kit.
Parent
What are you talking about? He will only loose performance if he buys 4GB which consisit out
4 x 1024. He won't loose a lot of performance if the 4GB consists out of 2 x 2048. And even if there is performance loss it won't be noticeable to the human eye. Only when benchmarking.
Parent
He will lose if he want to makes a nice overclocking if he takes the 4 gb kit or if he won't makes overclocking I mean. + Extra ram doesn't add any fps.
Parent
I sure hope you won't overclock it. You don't have the room(e.g great powersupply) to do so.

System looks great. But I will always tell people to not underestimate the importance of a good powersupply and to not buy a powersupply which comes with a case.
Parent
best (preferably budget) psu's in your opinion?

I was looking at Seasonic or Corsair ;e
Parent
I'd go for Corsair. They've made some stable psu's. But really, any A-brand psu would do fine. Antec, Coolermaster,PC Power & Cooling,OCZ, Corsair to name a few.

Don't buy shit like "Be Quiet" or something like that.
Parent
For info corsair psu are maked by seasonic, but Corsair add 5 years of warranty.
Parent
They say that psu which comes with antec sonata III (earthwatts 500W) should be decent(stable and so).
Parent
I have no idea who 'they' are. But I will only believe that it's decent when reviews are written about it testing the latest hardware with it.

EDIT:
If it's the Antec Earthwatt then it should be decent indeed.
Parent
Huomaa sitten ottaa SATA versio tuosta polttavasta. Ihan ok setti.

P5K on ihan ok valinta, P5E olisi sitten tuosta vielä parempi versio, mutta eipä sulla näytä olevan tarvetta.
Parent
Jep ja hintaeroakin tulis n. 100e.
Parent
Lähinnä siinä olis 2x x16 PCIe, eli jos CrossFireä varten. Sellaset tosin on rahan tuhlausta.
Parent
I really hope you have another proc for that socket not from E8xxx generation to work on that socket. I had a friend with an ASUS mobo and it didn't work until you updated the BIOS (can't tell if it was the same model but it was the same chipset). And you can't do that without a processor.

LE: Read the ASUS forums for more info. I think the threads related to this issue are stickied.
Parent
Getting ASUS P5Q PRO instead of P5K probably.
Parent
P5k = p35, so you can put all c2d in it (65nm or 45nm) .
Parent
is the CLUB 3D 4870 the same as the sapphire 4870 ?
Same chips only the brand change.
Parent
in my opinion sapphire is more reliable and often comes with some tweaked/improved versions
Parent
It has a PSU included. On top of that it has a great design, very silent & easy to install. Awesome case if you ask me :)
Get a Silverstone if you want a quiet psu and to me design isn't important.:p
Parent
I don't really like the look of Silvertone cases + they aren't really that cheap. I have a Antec 900 and i'm just loving it :).

Btw: you dont care about design? you barbarian :D
Parent
hUh, just checked that out and the psu seems in an awfully weird position, or maybe im just not used to PSU at bottom

would you say the Antec 900 was worth it... How far does it help with OC'ing/temperatures?

(case shopping)
Parent
When I bought my new comp I payed around 100 EUR for my antec nine hundred. You should be able to get it for around 80 EUR now.

It looks awesome, blue leds on the side and on the front. It has a huge fan on the top, and together with 2 fans on the front and 1 in the back it really has a great cooling. They all have a little switch (low / medium / high). You already get a good cooling if you put them on low. If you put them on high it makes quite a lot of noise tho.. Definatelly helps if you want to OC or during the summer to not overheat your system. Temperatures are fine.

The plexiglas on the side also gives it a little extra + it has some "airholes" in it so you have a good airflow. 100 EUR seems a lot for a case but I haven't regret buying this case one second.
Parent
Shit I've made a mistake, I wanted to say "seasonic" psu are quieter !
Parent
Well, I would have to disagree on that, but there isn't much competition for Sonata.
Parent
it's good
Seems ok to me
Also had my PSU on the bottom. Just make sure your PSU cables are long enough :).
