Also, are there any other RTS games you would recommend? (Not aoe, company of heroes or red alert/c&c)

Once you understand the system of Warcraft it's a very easy game, generally more liked than the likes of Starcraft in which you always have to learn new things.

European statistics? Starcraft is immense in Asia but in Europe it's less commercialized, half of the people I know think of a fps in space when they hear the name.

how is the SC a ripoff from the warhammer universe, you could mention 40k but other then the marines and the terrans i don't rly see the comparison.

on the other hand, warcraft is indeed a complete ripoff from the warhammer universum

Much of those should be considered "RTT" real-time tactics. Strategy is something bigger, like seen in Hearts of Iron -series.
