XP or Vista?

I have to install an OS on my computer, and I'm considering to get Vista simply because it looks nice and my computer can handle it for once. But what are the reasons not to get Vista? What is it not compatible with?

my initial reason for windows vista was directx10. but in my experience it does no difference at all (you don't see the difference in performance / graphics in bioshock / crysis / world in conflict).
if you want to use windows - install xp!

Im the one they come to if they need a movie making for their promotion video.
Have tried it, like most sports i dislike it.
I actually used to think it was pathetic. But then i watched Fully Flared and Mike Mo's part at the beginning made me realize how much it symbolises and how free you must feel when doing it.
So i have respect for them now and offer alot of help to them when i can. :)
just really touched me, realized how much that peice of wood with wheels does for them.
My best mate loves to skate - and it relaxes him, hes been some shit recently and just loves to go out, sun or rain, on his own and skate for a few hours. And i respect that, i really do.
The only bad thing about Fully Flared is the music - Mike mo's song is the best, but hes not the best skater... they shouldn't have let them choose their own songs. :D

ET and all other appz runs great on vista! if you are to stupid to run the compatible manager its your problem. Also i have never probs with PB

i bought a new great computer with vista and that was a mistake
install xp sp3
i really had MANY problems with vista
you have to vid_restart before you connect to the server
ventrilo 3.0 isnt working while playing et because you will lag all the time

of course vista looks great but its not worth it :x
Chose XP m8.
Anyway, I would recommend Ubuntu instead of any Windows installation =)
