Here's an interesting little clip that's available on YouTube (oh noez) showing the similarities between Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' and Joe Satriani's 'If I Could Fly'.

Much more sad when an absolute shit band copies one of the greatest bands ever and even one (if not the) of the most famous songs written by that band. A bit like attempting to use George W. Bush's ID to get into a club.

Oasis were not formed as a "beatles cover/tribute" band at all. Oasis were formed as a band which were under influence by the beatles, and even if a band is started as a "Beatles tribute band" that's not copying, thats tributing.

There's a lot of songs that share (or have a very similar) chord progression, that doesn't automatically mean that it's stolen.

Coldplay is uber shit live.
I had to chose between Coldplay and Radiohead.
Thx god i went to Radiohead's show.
Best show i've ever seen.
