Change the 2x9600gt's to 2x8800gt's

don't get ddr3, its pointless and expensive. don't buy vista, get xp (better yet, pirate it and save money).
I don't like SLI (cause of the mobos), but thats your choice.

2x 9600gt -> hd4870
4gb dd3 -> 4gb ddr2
maxtor hdd -> western digital/seagate/samsung
asus striker II -> Asus P5Q-Pro

HD4870 or GTX 260 are far superior to 9600GT, even in SLI. DDR3 RAM is just a waste of money, get DDR2 instead and again as duumed already pointed out, don't buy a Maxtor HDD, get Seagate or Samsung one.

And do you really need such an expensive motherboard?

Furthermore, you should buy E8400 instead and save some money (you get the same performance after OC).

8800 is way better than the 9600
