punkbuster error

I need some help! :(

I am using my friends laptop for a bit to play some wolfenstein and I copied my entire wolfenstein map to his laptop (we both have vista). the game was running perfectly on my computer but on his when I join a server I get kicked by pb saying SERVICE COMMUNICATION FAILURE: PnkBstrA.exe.

Does anyone have any clue as to how to get round this? :( might be worth mentioning that on this laptop avast antivirus is installed and on mine it isnt...

download pbsetup, run it, update rtcw.

I 've got vista 64bit and avast running aswell, works fine (besides some annoying fps PLUS inet lags).

Check if it's running (ctrl+alt+del, processes).. if it is, something is probably blocking it (windows firewall / virusscanner).

If it isn't.. :XD

yeah and run pbsvc.exe and make sure the pb service has admin rights!!!
