Rock, Progressive Rock, Blues.

Also a little Soul, Funk, Jazz and Electronic every now and then.

I'm a music student so I need to keep it kind of broad.
What kind of musical studies are you doing?
Parent
Performance mainly. But there's classes on the industry and theory of course, and also musical genres etc.

Looking forward to going back on the 25th
Parent
Sounds nice :O, so, are you in a band ?
Parent
Not anymore. I was last year. It's part of the course to be in a band and write and record original material, so I'll be in a band when I get back to college.

Already basically set up to join a band with some friends from last year.
Parent
Oh nice, what kind of music do you guy's play?
Parent
Well we haven't started playing yet. I'm interested in some experimental rock, as would the drummer be. The bassist likes that kind of stuff too but he wants to use lots of funk elements which could be interesting I guess.

I suppose it depends what the singer is interested in too.
Parent
Nice :O). Have any recordings of your past work?
Parent
No. Last years band was pretty terrible.

I'd rather not talk about it :D
Parent
Haha :D, I get you!

I listen to everything. Currently my playlist is j-pop and classical music mostly, on my harddrive however I've got

- metal, a lot (black/death/melodic/folk/thrash/progressive/melodeath/etc.)
- rock (indie/alternative/country/hard/etc.)
- electronic (bigbeat/triphop/dnb/industrial/breakbeat/jungle/dubstep/etc.)
- classical music (romantic/baroque/20th century classical)
- hiphop (nederhop/underground/hardcore)
- Zelda music!!!
- j-pop/rock/metal

Well that's about it I'd say, I listen to pretty much everything but have my 'periods' of listening some genres.
