So, today, the Danish (hi sol) handball team played against Russia in the group games of the Olympics. The European champions, Denmark, has been playing really bad the two first matches, tieing against Egypt and losing to South Korea.

Anywho, back the game, once again the Danish team was playing awefull and was trailing through the entire game. If the Danes lost the game, it would pretty much mean that they wouldn't make it to the playoffs, even though there is still two more matches remaining.

With 30 seconds left on the clock the score is DK 24-24 RU, so DK takes out the goalkeeper. The Danes are in the attack, but misses the shot, which means there is a free goal for the Russians, they fail the shot from around the midfield; resulting in a final Danish attack with 10 seconds to go. A Dane gets pulled down and the clock runs out, but DK is given a freethrow; this means that the shot needs to be taken from a standing position.

Now the guy to take the freethrow is the 20 year old Mikkel Hansen, who has been taken into the team as a reserve, but since one of the main lineup players got his appendix removed.
