new pc or only parts

My pc is now 2,5 years old But is it better to buy new parts or just a whole new pc?

money is not a problem, but obviously not too much as it can

pc specs

Operating System: Windows XP Professional
Processor: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 2600+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.6GHz
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Hard Drive: 160 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT
Sound Card: Realtek AC97 Audio

either keep the tower and buy new parts.

or sell the old pc and buy new parts.

don't buy a complete pc .. buy it in parts, it's cheaper and you know what you're doing when building it together
