video memory broken/corrupt? try uninstalling device and reinstalling it.

- Check the video cable and see if it's properly attached. Try another cable if you have one.
- Check your vid. card's temperature. Clean the cooler if it's dirty or replace it if it's busted.
- Check that the card is properly connected to the slot on the motherboard. I, once, had similar problems with my card, but re-attaching it to the mobo solved everything. If you have two PCI-E slots, you could try switching the card to another slot.

Your graphic card overheated, I had the same. U can't slove the prob, need to buy a new one.

I have this on my laptop, and have come to the conclusion that it's about overheating of gfx like adze says

i had that prob. My videocard was like not broken but badly connected to motherboard.

(to high, to low?) or color depth?

can't imagine that it's a hardware problem because you just formatted your pc... (atleast if everthing worked well before you formatted ...)

Shut down the pc, wait 15 secs and start it again. Problem solved

gfx card is broken imo. i had the same with my first card too, and ye thats a sign of a dead gfx card :D
