response rate

well i want to buy a new pc and get a TFT with it in a bundle.
the interesting bundles got good hardware for low price, but the TFT only a response rate of 8ms :(
is this enough for playing without problems?

I got a 5ms TFT myself and I find it way better than those Samsung 2ms TFTs used at CDC.

Which brand (and type) is that?

I use a Samsung SyncMaster 931c basically the came as on CDC, but not wide screen, so 2ms response time on a 19" screen.

I'm a big fan of these screens - needless to say it didn't take ages to get used to it when I played on CPC2.
