hi guys, im planning on playing some rtcw again (it has been a long time, but im sick of ET)
so could you guys help me out, i dont rly know which patches i have 2 download n stuff...
also i could use a good cfg, thxxxxxxx

yes, you even have to download 1.33 full before if i'm not mistaken

yep, SLI is for nVIDIA ^^

and when there's 3 cards that's 3-way SLI or CrossFireX

btw do you know what maps are played alot and do you have a link 2 the maps, cos atm i only have a few maps and i dont know if it are the right ones :p

well, most played maps are village, ice, beach, escape2, frostbite, assault and base (+ ufo).

maybe i forget some but i don't think so. GOTY mappack has almost all these maps, putting aside frostbite

you can have a look at rtcw-cup.com or 4ng3l's website to download them if you think GOTY mappack isn't worth it

i just dl&installed the goty mappack but i dont see any maps in my main folder :pppp is that normal? :p

yes it is, it has the maps together in pk3-files like pakmaps-1.pk3 2, 3 etc :P

u need to download path 1.4 which upgrades your game to 1.41 when u dont have path 1.33 instaled already...

then u have to download GOTY mappack and install it... after that update your pb client

oh and download OSp 0.9...


gl hf its even more complicated than installing ET :D

Download patches in order.

1.3 > 1.4 > 1.41

this way you get all the map updates needed.

goty mappack is not needed so much as the maps are not really played - but could be worth it.

also frostbite needs to be downloaded.

:), I just installed RTCW actually :>, I got German version from Torrent but have a CD-KEY :). I gave one away to Bruceh who gave me ETQW in return :P. I have another one SOMEWHERE!!
