To Fusen:

1) How about adding a prievew option before "adding a journal" or "adding a topic" like when you write a news post?

2) Why don't we see whats written in teh "Recent Comment" at Forums?

most peoples write exactly 1 line in their journals, why they need preview??

its "what" not "who"... and we dont see names at "recent comments"

if you "mouse over" at one comment, you see the name who wrote it.

The "Recent Comment" function seems to be quite useless for me... I actually never look at it. It's just better for me to click on the journal/news that I find interesting and look out for highlighted comments (which is a pretty cool function :)).

what you can do is wait for the page to load.
after it loads select the url, press enter, and it should take you to the right comment.

the reason forums are missing from recent comments is because of the way the forum descriptions to forum topics to comments is laid out in mysql, the query is 1second+ which isn't going to be put on every page especially when new comments appear every minute so mysql can't even use it's caching

in the mean time I just make a news post, edit it + mess around with how I want it to look then copy + paste into forum topic.

Is it possible to do something like a vote ( like this +1 stuff) in a journal where u can vote the best reply.....so u dont have to read everything all day long...


or maybe the threadcreater can chose one reply as best comment ...
