why should it be fake? ever heard of tuning a car? there could be a ferrari engine in that smart. the acceleration of the smart would be higher then compared to the ferrari because of the lower weight.

He's trying to tell you that this smart uses the suzuki hayabusa gsx engine. A ferrari engine would be way to big for such a small car.

For high acceleration you don't need power, you need torque! Power is important for top speed.
