Jamaica absolutely creaming the 4x100 relay. Usain bolt making olympic history today for being the only person ever to win every event he has done and set a new world record in every event he has run in.

Its not even in the same solar system. The inflation in swimming distances is crazy. He's a fantastic athlete but Bolt... what he did and in the way he did it, wow!

phelps isn't bad, but only few ppl practise swimming compared to athletics and still he won very similar races. It's not a big difference if they swim free-style or some other swimming type. Would be same as in athletics races in 100m 110m 120m etc and bolt would surely win them all :D

and phelps wasn't even nearly as preeminent as Bolt. Also something about swimming's level tells that ppl make world records there ten times a day whereas in athletics only very rarely.

I agree about Bolt's achievement being more impressive but saying that Phelps won similar races is ridiculous...

For Bolt to win 8 golds he should have run all the races up to 5000m, and difference between 100m and 5000m is huge compared to swimming 100m with different styles.
