Mic problem @ Ventrilo

Hi.

i changed me Graphic card and my power supply yesterday.

when i opened my PC, i couldnt hear anything, i reinstalled the Audio driver.

now, when im trying to use my mic for anything, its fine, but when i try to speak @ Ventrilo, noone can hear me.
i checked all the mute push to talk options etc and its not not working.
my Mic dose work.

any suggestions? maybe Vent setting problems? but i dont think so, its jts happened after i changed my hardware..

go to setup and press the monitor button
if you see numbers in the list then its working fine but if you have absolute zero try and change some settings...

Its all Zero.. what do u think that i need to change? couldnt see anything.. there is no way to defult the settings?

check that the input device is the sound card u're using

check that the line is Microphone

and if u un-mute the mic from the volume control you hear yourself?

I have the opposite problem tbh. People go deaf when I talk to them via vent, even if I set lowest volumepower options. And my mic is working as well.

If you have mic boost on, turn it off

I didn't have that turned on. But my pc is getting pwnd back to original status, so I hope that will do the trick. Otherwise I will buy a new mic anyh00, seeing I had some hardware issues in the past.

It's more about the fact that when I push C to talk, everyone on the Vent Channel screams at me to gtfo xD And nice spelling.

u feedback all ur output to our ears meaning we can always hear u play ET, try turn directsound on.
