nVidia card + my pc?

Hey,

I'm probably going to buy a new graphics card to get atleast stable 100 fps in et. Can I get stable fps with my prosessor?

Intel Celeron D 352 3.20GHz 533MHz 512KB Skt 775 CPU

GeForce 9600GT OCX 512MB PCI-E

LOL get a new cpu first i'd say
So the video card works with this cpu?

Videocards should match on a motherboard, not on a processor. Give me your mobo-specs.
Parent
celeron 3,2ghz sucks, but it should be enough for ET
Probably.
omg sure u can :|
yeah, same card

easy :), tho the processor is shit, ET is CPU only ;d
im still loling @ u buying it
Parent
if you really want to stick with ET and get highest performance...i'd suggest a better CPU, will be more efficient
if you want it for ET, get a better CPU instead since ET is 75% cpu dependant or sth like that (pulled the procentage out of my ass)
tbh 77,4 % of all statistics are pulled out of peoples ass

really, I didn't want that image in my head, thanks! >:(

after some people said his cpu is not good what about mine

pentium D 930 3.0Ghz @ 800

his frequency is higher but his fsb is lower, now, his my cpu good for ET ?

if gfxcard matters mine is 6600GT
i think its enough for stable 100 fps, or even more, i had a pentium 3(or 4, cant remember) with 3ghz and it rocked
Parent
your cpu is better, so, yes.
Parent
just in case, remember to check if ur powersupply is good enough for that graphics card!
8800GTX Ultra FTW
running @ core2duo 3Ghz, 4 hdd, tv card + 9600gt + 7usb things all same time - PSU 380W Tagan.
i still get confused when i see nvidia 9600/9800 :( im like WTF thats like 5years old
Play another game so you don't need to change it.
get an 8800GS or smt good like that.
