Al Gore speaking right now, doing a good job in my opinion (Joe Biden's speech yesterday was already brilliant).
I'm curious to see Barack Obama's speech.

might check out things like gore/obama speeches on youtube, but I'm not really bothered for the most part... either way the world is pretty fucked, though if mccain got into power then... it would just be even quicker

Biden was brilliant, Bill 'n Hillary did enough 'n that attack dog that really hit McCain the other night was great too. Can't imagine any British politician managing anything like it.

Blair was a fantastic speaker in his early days, before his image became tainted by Iraq. However Bill Clinton is one of the greatest public speakers of all time, watch his speach at Blairs last Labour party conference, unbelievable.

Seems out of place to post this on Crossfire :p

As always a fantastically inspiring speech, 'n I agree with near most of what he said on domestic issues (right to chose / equal pay / discrimination / social welfare / medicare / etc - ones that'll never effect me ~/ ). But ironically, given that he's idolised by the rest of the world so much - some of his foreign policies seemed to almost fall back to the days of American Isolationism 'n protectionism.

'n jeez US politics is right wing ~/

The only reason it's not discussed on here is because everyone was watching it :p I just saw the Obama speech, was pretty good, but to be honest, George W. Bush blew pretty bubbles, too.

he has like almost no experience in running a government, he basically wants to fix things that don't really need fixing.

Will be interesting to see what happens if he gets elected, how fast the country has some crazy shit happening in USA, could care less tho, 10 more months and I'm out of USA. :P

true, i mean riots, possibly even worse, there are quite a few racists in the south who would not like to have a black president, not all southerners are racist, but more then a good 75% probably are. And there are a ton of people in the north of the USA who are racist too, I see it where I live in at the moment. So, we'll have to wait and see. :O
