I'm in need of some good thinking games, basicly anything that requires an IQ of let's say 80 ( no fps in other words ). To give you an idea of what I'm looking for; the last games I played were FM08, AOE 3 and Portal.

civilization 4 (turn based strategy, best game in its genre)
morrowind (great rpg, seriously great atmosphere and gameplay)
transport tycoon (play with trains and stuff :')

idd morrowind is also on of my favorites ever + main ques is pretty hard and thats how it should be. oblivion is much easier

morrowind = fucking amazing atmosphere. I remember running trough the elven villages and the capital just looking around, amazed at the architecture and buildings they made up :o

Truly the best rpg i ever played.

mm its not my favorite rpg (but i also like turnbased) but your totaly right indeed just exploring the world was alot fun, did u finish it btw(main quest)?i never did :<

ET it s the perfect combination of cheater, whiner , kids who made the game a really awesome atmosphere and the lagger and hitboxscripter working on a nice gameplay.
and also the ranking part with promotions which are useless provide entertainment.
so it s a must to play this game!

civ 2 or 4

3 = fail

2 is great to start off with and get the basic rules of civilization (commerce, grain, shields production @ cities and other basic stuff like that) 4 is brilliant if you add all the expansions :)

Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit , European is Fahrenheit I think and USA Indigo Prophecy - or the other way around. Really fun to play through the story and think, because your every move can determine the way you end the game!
