it's avi at torrents. anyone watched already? fuckin ISP downgraded my connection to 2mbit to test problems with router i reported.. takes so fuckin long to download :< will be finished in 25 minutes

sure, if you are watching it on a 50inch tv but I bet you arent so the only thing you are winning at is wasting bandwidth and being x hours later than the rest of us at watching it ;X

I have to go to college to enroll now anyway, and on regular Tuesdays I will need to be in college, so it's not like I can watch until I'm home (and it shall always be done by then, the bottleneck is not my connection but just the time for the file to spread between peers, thanks to utorrent rss)

Bandwith isn't any concern to me

And it's a 42" LCD, but such releases are sometimes worth it for sound quality alone anyway :)

The only reason it's a waste of bandwidth is cuz it's encoded in mpeg2.. (WHO the FUCK encodes 720p stuff in mpeg2 anyways?)

I only download shows in 720p or higher with 5.1 prefered, however not in 6+ gig mpeg2 versions (duh,wtf). A 42 (around) minute episode in 720p with 5.1 sound is usually just 1.1 gig and not 6+.

not at all. If the screen in question has a HD resolution, the size of the screen doesn't matter
in the sense that it still displays actual HD content.

The only thing that the size of a screen can do is enhance your viewing pleasure in general, wether its HD content or not.

this is a very specialized private tracker, if you aren't an experienced hd advocate it's probably not for you, it's pretty elitist atmosphere, even if you get invited, you still have to answer a series of questions regarding high definition technology, encoding techniques and about common abbreviations before you can make an account :E

You laugh, but at the same time you know that ~90% of crossfire users couldn't get into hdbits without some google or asking a friend.

Hell people actually follow ag0n's movie tutorial and I shit you not, they even RECOMMEND it to people.
