hi,
this is the story about the pblag that has been harassing this scene for far too long. Once upon a time we used PBbans suggested settings for punkbuster. These settings had been optimized over the years. Even though pb lagged we could live with it, knowing it caught private hax from time to time.
But then CB had another great idea: lets make our own pbbans site and GameViolations was born. GV has ex-pbbans admins. They dont like pbbans, whatever the reason may be, but its obvious its a personal thing. GV refuses to use pbbans settings, just because they are pbbans settings.
This lag has been going on for three weeks now. The solution has been known all along: go back to the old optimized pbbans settings, its not just the pbss settings that got changed a lot of other settings have been altered also. After whining to Donex and Killerboy for over two weeks, the problem still isnt solved.
so fuck you GV and CB.

i still need someone to gimme full pbbans access again, pmme :'(
switching to and forcing GV will cos a lot of trouble since i see no chance that everyone will stream his server to GV in time and which might lead to lots of canceled games for no reason.
not to mention that some GV settings like pbss suck :'(
You know that the problem was going to be fixed this week, i pmmed you on irc today but you ignored me i guess. The problem is that [GV]FoXeH is Offline, so we are waiting for her to go online, so that she can release the new script.
+ I had another chat with h3ll and the more you get to know about this whole issue the more you can see GV is just a joke, CB just stupid to not keep using PBBANS. Its time for CB to accept theres more than one competition. Every league uses PBBANS, why make a new game violation index only used by CB?
I really know how hard you tried to get this problem sovled, but even with you and donex trying it still hasnt happened. Try to understand my frustration ...

GV are a second rate AC organisation, not listed here: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=links.php - they have no relationship with evenbalance like PBBans or PsB have. They have to fill out troubletickets like every other normal player in the world - whilst PBBans/PsB and numerous other AC organisations out there enjoy a great working relationship with Evenbalance - conferring on issues and passing on feedback on Punkbuster.
GV tech support routinely PM PBBans staff (including myself) asking for help - which I find quite worrying.

Everyone hates [flag=crossfire] GV (BECAUSE THEY ARE NAZIS JUST LIKE CROSSFIRE ADMINS AI LOLED)
they do know that we (gtv) are running matchservers for all the games (league doesnt matter) on gtv, so why are they forcing a matchserver to run only their configs? It would be possible to create something that supports more leagues but I wouldn't know where to start :P

I still wonder why they just didn't stay @ pbbans, would be the best for everyone imo, but ofc they can't put their personal problems on the side..
And it wasn't her who did that and cb chose gv as ac partner without inside intervention then its simply LMAO!

Btw, my team was suggesting we should get on the CB ladder again for the practice only.

What to do, what to do (I refuse to stream GV)
Resolution simple: we play away matches, who stream GV, and take forfeit on the home matches, easy peasy and how much CB is been taking seriously these days, matter of fact i haver never taking they seriously at all, but when they have no integrity and chose to bond with those devils they just lost all lack of respect. What is the average age at CB admins actually?
