so there have basically been no decent movies recently and then suddenly you get DVD screener of The Dark Knight, and then the next day, Iron Man DVDRip and the Incredible Hulk screener... NICE ;D

well, actually I watched it in the cinema, but I haven't seen any previews, trailers or any other stuff, and kinda liked the atmosphere of the movie, overall I will give 8/10. And I'm sure I would have had different opinion, if I had seen it at home.

Uhm... an hour long TV episode is 1.4GB, at 1mb/s, just over 20 minutes... can't really say its a problem

I was actually talking about normal movies, not TV episodes. And if it's 1.4GB I guess it's 1280x720 not 1920x1080, so here you are with your "hd", mr. elitist!

There's not many tv shows that come in 1920x1080, and there's a far better selection 1280x720 vs 1920x1080 in movies too.. you're arguing about really weird shit, it shouldn't really matter to you how long he downloads shit or what resolution it is

1080p x264 encodes are often DVD9, so ~8GB... which still doesn't take a long time.

Even a hddvd is only 25gb... I hardly see how such things take a long time to download.


And I used an example of TV shows because it is what I download most frequently. Fox and the other major US networks don't broadcast 1080p... go figure.

haven't seen a good movie for a while, watched hellboy2 and mummy3, hellboy>mummy but still pretty crappy

oh wells!

there seems to be some good movies coming out, like knowing, terminator, watchmen (next year lol), deathrace just to name a few
