Sony Reader

Has anyone tested/bought one of these yet? I'll probably purchase one when the price lowers a bit x)

The reader uses an iTunes Store-like interface to purchase books from Sony's Connect eBook store. It also can display Adobe PDFs, ePub format, personal documents, blogs, RSS newsfeeds, JPEGs, and Sony's proprietary BBeB ("BroadBand eBook") format.

QuoteOn the plus side, you can store 160 books on the Reader (holiday packing just got a whole lot easier), its battery lasts for 6,800 page turns (enough to read War and Peace five times, boasts the Waterstone's press release)

why would you go for the sony reader over the kindle? especially as the kindle is supposedly getting a remake soon
What are they going to be updating on it?
The reader is a lot neater than the kindle though, but has less you can do :{

i has them :)
thats a mini computer / ipod that lets you read books with few clicks?
library ftw..no need to waste money for this
It's a PDF reader.
I go to the library every 3 weeks as it is and got 4 bookshelves full :_D
It's just a pain when you're reading a few books at a time and travelling, too much space :)
