Hello Ladies!

No real "Noorgrin blog" today, even thou it's friday, just some Metallica fanboyism !

Can't wait for the 12.September, the new Metallica Album "Death Magnetic" release date... i got all offcial metallica albums legally btw!!!, even "Bay Area Thrashers" :)

Been a huge Metallica fan ever since, and tbh since i got a interested in music (around the age of 11/12 or so, "Black Album", early 90s).

I got them all illegally, including Death Magnetic ! ;D (PS I also have the cd's, not magnetic though :) I've been listening to Unforgiven III all day, love it :)

"unforgiven III" is one of my favorites on the new album! "the day that never comes", "all nightmare long" and "cyanide" are n1 as well!

well my favorite is (and will ever be) "Master of Puppets" album, but anyways i like all of their albums, also Load and ReLoad, every album has a unique style and i do not compare every new album from Metallica with their old ones (like alot of ppl do).

The songs i heard so far are really good and i personally like them.

i also dont compare, well at least im trying.
i just dont like it, same as i dont like load, st.anger and ride the lightening(omg i dont like the uber-oldschool album :<).

its not THAT bad at all, i will keep trying to get tickets for the upcoming tour, even if they will play new songs mainly.
(wanted to go to this release party in berlin, but its only for fanclub-members who pay 60$ for the membership)

fckin great song, whole album is good, not as good as some of their earlier stuff but defo much much better than st.anger!

imo all the songs are really similar on this album, and thats somethin i dont fancy of, you maybe listen to once or twice but then surely its going to trash can...

they just can't get the fucking drums right... on st. anger the cymbals and snare sounded like trash cans, now the bass drum and the snare sound like a home recording. Don't like the production at all. Yes, it does sound kinda retro like maybe on Ride The Lightening, but it's just too much of it, this is 2008.
Also the new songs don't really kick my ass.
