don't see your point
Whats wrong with it?
You start the school when your 6/7 years old.
Primary school 8 years (if you don't need to repeat a year)
High school 4 years (if you don't need to repeat a year) +2 years if you want to get internship
You can find a job after this, but pls @ subsistence wage.
University/college 3-5 years. (if you don't need to repeat a year)
Your around 24 when you end with school.
I herd seychelles flag is cool nowadays
This isn't abnormal. What if he still studies?
have you seen the house prices in the uk? + it now being hard to get a mortgage here.
nothing wrong with it.
the old 70's average age for leaving home for males in the UK was 21, it is now 26.

that's from a study released about 2 weeks ago.

I'm at uni at the moment and am 20 but my course will finish when I'm 23. For the last 3 months during summer holidays I've been living at home and if I'm fucked with no job when I leave uni then I'd probably crash at home till I got myself sorted.

it's not that uncommon tbh :X
okok... i failed @ knowing the english society :(

Awesome fucking journal. Now eat shit and die.
I'm 15 and I don't live in home / with my mom anymore... :p
and you are expecting an answer ? useless journal really.
I've been away from home for two years now (university), but move back at Christmas and during the summer. I'm 20 and my sister is 19, I can't imagine she's going to move out for years and she has a full time job.
I own 4 houses which I rent out, its cheap to live at home.
Not in United Kingdom right now :)))))))

I am 20 and have alrdy been living on my own for 2 years now, during high school and now going to uni

BEAT THAT MOMMYLOVERS!
have to be on like 100k a year to get your own house these days ;<
Best tip I was given: Stay with your parents for as long as you can.
Basically sponging off them, but still hell of a lot cheaper than having your own place.
Obviously there'd be exceptions and stuff, perhaps you have a family of your own, your parents are rich or you have a stable job x)
gonna stay at home till im 24-25 or when something else happens.
