I wants new monitor too!

After reading bibubabu's (or w/e it is too complicated sowwy! :<) inspiring journal i decided i want a new monitor too, my old CRT one isn't getting any better anyway + it takes too much space! So i need your help!
It needs to be:
-not CRT, those are too big!
-good value quality / money wise (obviously!)
-at least 22" (might get bigger for movies and shizzleeeeee)

- There are 3 versions of 226BW 2 bad ones one good
- There is still bleeding
- No moveable foot.

Top of the screen allways need to be at eye hight. Its better. So if you cant adjust the foot you need to set your chair lower or higher or adjust your table. And with adjustable foot can also change the angles when your are watching a movie or something.

its better to prevent things like RSI, because you will keep your neck at good hight.
So its very important if you use your computer alot.

There are new versions of the 226BW, and also better screens than the 226BW atm. Like the 2253BW Some months ago it was a good choice but today? No. The 226BW has alot of different panels and in the 2253BW you know for sure the panel is good

If you only care about the gaming performance take a cheap TN screen. Like the 2253BW or from another brand. If you care more about colors and quality dont buy TN screen, but it will be alot more expensive between 400~1000 euros.

I need something decent to play games on, but should be big enough and quality wise good enough to watch films etc on! (prolly moving my tv to the basement so need something here!!! :)) I know you know some good choices mr zenix! so help me! <3

There is nothing wrong with the screen like i said. For a normal customer but like i said it depends on the panel they used in your 226BW. Someone who doesnt know alot about LCD's panels doesnt see the difference. But in the other samsung what i just said you are sure you have a good panel and its even cheaper than the 226BW so what more do you want?

I just got a Samsung 2493mh and its really nice, has DVI and HDMI ports on the back, built in speakers (they are good enough to watch films on etc so are quite nice). Nice display and fully adjustable.

But built in speakers prolly run up the cost! Besides i've got a decent speaker set as it is, odest thing on my pc is my monitor and my keyboard so ;)

a million! well hmmm 0 - 400€ i guess, but preferably something under 400 seeing i've been spending a bit too much lately (got 2 pairs of sneakers coming in today :XD)

Pixmania mate, was 299 but its gone up to 309 now. If you order from there, make sure you remove the zen thing they put as default on checkout. Its a waste of money imo.

Xo the new Samsung T series of monitors are stunning, the 22" is gorgeous although very expensive for the size at the moment (in my opinion).

The LG W2252TQ is good value for money in the UK, not sure how much you;d have to pay for one.

Don't rly care if looks gorgeous or not, just want something good. If you ppl give some good monitors i'll hunt for sharp prices :) <3
