If you have a dynamic ip you can just reset your router. It will take a few minutes longer but who cares :P (Depends on what speed they give you :D 500 for me atm)
Your ISP offers you something that allows you to download illegal stuff as well. It's called your internet connection.
Usenet in itself is not illegal. It offers a forum platform and in this forum platform you can attach binary files to your articles. There is nothing illegal about that. Same as an ISP offering you webspace. You can put stuff on there for others to download. Doesn't make it illegal, unless you offer illegal content.
Usenet is also hard to classify as illegal. To create the original file, you will need all articles of a certain upload to be able to make that file again. One article alone is useless. That's where NZB files come in, and those in itself are simply XML files telling you which articles you want to download, which doesn't make the NZB file illegal as well. That'd be saying that a piece of iron and a piece of wood CAN make a gun, but a seperate piece of iron and a seperate piece of wood is not a gun and thus not illegal.
true, but somehow it simply does not appeal to me. Usenet is simply easier and the tools for it offer more features such as automatic repair and extract of your rar archives etc.
