ETprob minus caps

ET is taking up all my free memory. It doesn't matter what hunkmegs I use.

This is really starting to annoy me since the game is not running smooth, even with stable fps. It also makes the mouse feel kind of slippery which is kind of irritating on long distance. Any way to fix this? I tried hunkmegs as low as 256. Can I go lower?


Getting some new ram next month anyways but still...

Help would be appreciated.

Going to buy these next month. Despite the gay color the reviews were pretty nice. It's desperately needed anyways. Been using this random 1GB kit for too long. >:/

I just lowered the hunkmegs to 192 and it's taking around 650 instead of the usual 700+. Don't think it really helped. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait this one out till I get my new ram.
I hope that will help because if not there's no point in playing anymore when you have visual lags all the time and miss so many shots. Hope my ram is fucked and Et will be playable after all this time with this shit slippery mouse feeling..

well ive had this "slippery" mouse feeling for over 2 years, and i had the same problem with 2gb on my new pc

and i have 1 gb on this one

my et also uses a lot of memory, and it increases a lot all the time

Hm, I remembered reading some of your old sens related journals trying to figure out what's wrong with this weird shit but there were no answers, not even from perfo :(

Everyone thinks it's placebo but I'm smart enough to know what ET used to feel like.
But since no one else is having these problems theres probably never gonna be a solution, maybe one day I'll buy another PC and it'll be gone :X

there are tons of people with this problem, ive tried to sort this for ages, and ive met many with the problem, however no solution yet...

makes it impossible to aim well, and soon im gonna leave et, i wish i cld compete on the same terms as everybody else for once and without this sensitivity handicap, but i guess i never will

I just got 1 problem now, been having these weird lags since today and after reinstalling PB and then reinstalling whole ET it's still there. It's not hardware it's the ISP and they conveniently unhooked all their phones :D

I'm off for a bit mate, gl to us :P

edit: your right that doesn't really help :(
