The G5 (that is one of my mice) has a retarded laser sensor (one of the best though, but it is still laser!), so if you are intrested in - don't buy it!

The MX518 is very nice, it has a very decent optical sensor and almost the same shape as the G5 actually has, though, I don't like the MX518 Design.

The Razer Deathadder has a better shape and a much better sensor than the MX518 has, proof? esreality

My third mouse is the Steelseries IKARI Optical which has the best shape (<3), but worse sensor than the Deathadder one.

Choose Razer Deathadder or SteelSeries IKARI Optical.

even 1g weight wont make G5 better than mx518

i opened my last mx518 to remove the weight before realising there wasn't one.

then it wouldn't work so i had to buy new :DDDDDDD
