hello.
Since few weeks I got this strange problem that I'm banned from few servers, I can connect to most servers though. I'm "BANNED by Server Admin" on servers I've never been on before...
Just today I wanted to play an ETTV match (ololol low on ettv!!1) but I was banned from the match server. So I asked a gtv admin for help:

I thought that my subnet is banned on some servers, maybe because of some hacker living near to my place. But if I understood that correctly, there was no IP banned at all on that server...

Dont use a guidspoofer, If you use it wrong you will get a empty guid and that guid is allmost banned from every server. So try a another guid spoofer :]

actually, you get an empty guid when someone yawns you during connecting and pbbans are done by PB guid, but ok

You're on vista then. Its hidden @ etmain, you can see it at local temp documents and then pb folder.

is there an ip match with crossfire? do you have the rights to check that?

1st possibility: the command got in my cfg, but I didnt change anything since months :/

no, you can't spoof a pbguid to get someone banned. You can send fake info to yawn, but you can't spoof the guid.

With Game-Violations, bans expire after 1 year (get removed) with PBBans, they are there for life.

Well m8, you prolly don't know alhric, i'd bet 100 € he didn't cheat. I've been playing with him for around one year already, and no, he'll never cheat. I understand you very well, everyone says something like " No, can't be, he would be the last one to cheat", but in his case it's the simple truth.

Yes, he's busted, yes, it's his IP, but the only reason i see for this is that he got fucked by a serveradmin who abused his rights.

And of course Killerboy only does his job, and i like the effort he spends into it, and since there's enough proof to ban him, i don't blame him for that. But the simple truth is that there must have been some kind of abuse as i mentioned above.

Besides that, why would a player make a topic such as this to bust himself? Pretty strange, no?

I've seen funnier selfbusts in my life :) And I've also seen people who you would never think cheat get busted aswell. Maybe he just wanted to try it out?
At the moment I'm not sure it is possible to fake bans to GV, would be alot easier to fake the ban to pbbands or punksbusted..

I never cheated, everyone who played with me knows that i'm fucking low and I also never tried cheats, don't need that crap.
There is also no fucking way this command could be in my cfg, I didnt change it for months... atm I have to think about this bug... admins are able to ban players on pbbans or whatever.
It doesnt seem to be fake/spoof because it seems to be my ip..
