hi there

today im supa-happy since i got a new part time job as a web developer for my last scholastic year in BTEC Higher National Diploma

also gl polaar @ ec (especially toxiccccccc)

np: 2 Many Dj's at Drugstore on Pure Fm (Belgium) 05-09-2008 - they rock!!

450euros for advanced

with ready-made templates ofc :)

they use Smarty, looks quite easy to use from it's documentation

i did some freelance jobs including both front-end and not so advanced CMS compared to others at an average of 500euros :)

Use template files (classes etc from smarty) binded with the new required php codes to insert,update etcc with the database

the CMS are basically for companies selling products and other things

What about design? Is there already a design for you to work with and thus what you do is implement a working CMS with the design that they provide?

theres the designer for the design :p

i will only work on PHP, maybe help out in design but highly unlikely

im not really fluent with photoshop & flash but still good with css :)

how long are you busy with implementing these templates into a working cms. Or let me just ask it another way "how long are you busy in total on one cms?"

dunno yet tbh

Didnt get a hands on one of these CMS yet - since we will have templates ready it will definetly faster the process though

if im fast i finish it in 3 days, if im lazy it may take 1 week. depends :)

That would come down to a little over 10 euros per hour if you are fast and about 6 to 7 euros per hour if you are being lazy. And this is all based on guessing because you don't know what it exactly is you are going to have to make.

My question is, are you insane?Tto work as a freelancer and only expect to be paid 10 euro's per hour, tops?

i dunno about the average wage at NL but in Malta 10euros p/h is really a good wage. Even 7euros is above average...

i think that for this year, its a nice chance...

that's a standard wage for a contractbased job. Freelance does (and should) always pay more than that.

For freelance web development you can easily charge 40 to 50 euro's per hour. Easy.
