Am gonna get a new monitor off the gf for mo burthday..

Any suggestions for say around €150?

What size screen is best for gaming? Don't really need it to big as I have a 27" flatscreen above my head for watchin films on anyways

buy a crt of ebay i got a 22" crt off there for £60 good condition and can do upto 150hz at r_mode 6 although i use 120hz. and then use the rest of your money to buy wood and make your own table get 4 4x4 for legs and a sheet off plywood. pretty easy.

YOU are retarded if u want spend so fucking much money on monitor.. i have COMPAQ 17" CRT for 20 euro or so and i have it now for 3 years and its still oke.. just buy something similiar and for the rest of money buy weed or booze..

good CRTs are not so cheap nowadays... Yes, it depends on the size, but buying a 17" in 2008 is pretty useless imo :S (moreover if he is accustomed to a big monitor)

My friend bought LG flatron w2234s (22") and it's pretty good (i think it was around 200€ or smth)
