Hi im planing to build a home theater but instead of a projector im gonna use a HDTV.
Im gonna use the tv most to look at movies and series from a htpc(mediacenter). I dont look to much at sports so thats not so important. Im not gonna look so much at normal tv-consignment cuz, almost all tv-consignment in Sweden are in SD.
I did find a table in a computer magazine that showed TV"/distances so if ur couch are around 3-3,20m(witch my is) away from tv the u need at lest a 42" or bigger to see the full potential of full-hd material.
My budget is around 20000 Swedish kronor (around 2059,73€/2844,95$)
Anyone know if it is safe to use a plasma when taking the signal form a htpc. Or is the risk big that u get burn down images(dont know the english expression for this).
Now im looking on these two TV's:
Sony KDL52W4000
Pioneer PDP-508XD

oh wait .... no
your main intel chip in your computer was invented and made in israel too :(
It's pretty good for the price of around 670€ for a Full HD and I can only recommend it.
look for the TVs they recommend
I for myself would take a Sony Bravia or a Samsung LExxA656 xx=inch size
