I'am need of some decent sound settings for my 5.1 headset. I know ET doesnt support sorround sound, but I wont buy a new headset just for ET. The problem with my current soundsettings is that I sometimes hear enemies form a total different position they are in real, e.g. sometimes i hear someone left of me and get raped from behind.
I tried allready to play in 2 speakers mode and the headset is correctly plugged in since in CS:S it works perfectly

I can give you my Config. Then it should be fixed. (I had an 5.1 Surround Headset--> Medusa... .) Now it is broken... .

if you have stereo output you just have 2 directions where the sound can come from
i have 4 directions i won
why sound? bot is turning you around automaticly ;)
buy aimbot and it will not be necessary to hear the enemies any longer ;D
lql sound is overrated
